Background

As consumers increasingly look for convenient ways to support skin health, hair and nail strength, and overall appearance, the beauty beverage market is experiencing rapid growth as part of the broader health and wellness trend.

challenge

We decided to develop two solutions: The hair-oriented drink is enriched with vitamins and minerals (Vitamin C, Niacin B3, Zinc, Biotin B7), while the skin-oriented drink also contains collagen. The challenge with drinks containing vitamins and minerals is a dry mouthfeel and an off taste. The challenge with collagen in drinks is its flavor and the dry mouthfeel it often leaves.

We chose flavors and a sweetening system which enabled the desired flavor profile, suitable to a low-calorie drink, enriched with vitamins and minerals.
